Patch Test Instructions

Thank you for choosing Alicia Dowling Studio. Once your patch test has been received, please follow the instructions below:

Please disinfect your inner elbow/arm using the alcohol wipe provided. Once the area is clean, please use the cotton bud/brush provided and scoop the pigment onto the clean area.

Please then place the sensitive plaster on top of the pigment and leave the patch test on for 24 hours. A positive test will cause the skin to become red or itchy around the area. If symptoms occur, please remove the plaster and wash the area with water so the symptoms subside. If you experience an allergic reaction to the patch test, you can find relief by taking an antihistamine. If conditions persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. If you experience no redness or reaction to the pigment, this is a negative test.

Following your patch test, you must email acknowledgement to info@aliciadowlingstudio.com with your result.
